According to reports, Apple have recently been granted a patent for a mountable steering wheel remote control. The device looks to have been taken directly from the older iPod, having the ability to control Apple products in a car.

I don’t know if I’m a fan of the design, as I believe it’s a bit clumsy looking when mounted. Plus, considering Apple is Read the rest of this post »

Reasons why you should be watching F1 this season

Tags: , , , ,

Reason #1: There have been 5 different winning drivers and 5 different winning teams over the first 5 races of the season. Even the Williams F1 team have won a race this year, with their last victory taking place in 2004.

Reason #2: A single race win, equal to 25 points, separates 1st from 8th place in the drivers championship standings. Keep in mind that there are still 15 races left, so it’s still anyone’s season.

Reason #3: Fernando Alonso is driving the hell out of a lackluster Ferrari. Nothing else to add to that.

Reason #4: The next race is Monaco, which is always a beauty to watch and never short on drama. With Lewis Hamilton being usually quick at Monaco, could he Read the rest of this post »

In 1990, a one-off custom motorcycle was created by David Kay as a tribute to Enzo Ferrari, the founding father of Ferrari. Apparently, Kay contacted Enzo’s son, Piero Ferrari, and asked for the Italian marque’s blessing. It was approved.

The bike required 3,000 hours of work as it was built from scratch. Made out of aluminum, the prancing 2-wheeler’s weight was kept at a minimum in order to Read the rest of this post »
