Bugatti’s new Veyron 16.4 Super Sport claims the top speed record!
Last month, I posted that there was industry gossip that the rumored Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport was on its way. Packing 1,200 horsepower and 1,106 lb-ft of torque, the 300kg lighter Veyron Super Sport is out to raise the top speed bar once again.
According to the press release, a representative of the Guinness Book of Records witnessed the Super Sport achieve an average top speed of 431 km/h, a new world record for a production car. However, Bugatti will be electronically restricting the top speed on the Super Sport to 415 km/h.
It is expected that the car will go for a cool KD596,000 (€1,650,000) approximately.
