Porsche gives the 918 Spyder the GREEN light!
Due to the overwhelming response from the public after the release of the Porsche 918 Spyder, the Stuttgart-based company officially gave the green light for the development and production of a car based on the 918 Spyder concept, which debuted at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show. The production version’s power source should not differ much from the concept version, which used a 500 hp V8 with two electric motors producing 109 hp each. Unfortunately for us people on a budget, be expecting this car to be very expensive; somewhere north of $500,000 dollars.
