Travis Pastrana gives insight to planning a record-breaking rally lap (w/video)
I like this video simply because you get a chance to see how a rally driver and co-pilot plan their timed lap. This partnership – Travis Pastrana (driver) & Marshal Clarke (co-driver) – leads to a record being broken at the Mt. Washington Rally Hillclimb which is no easy feat. Pastrana and Clarke go through communication codes and terms (some are bizarre and made up) which are utilized during the lap, giving us insight as to how the pros do it. Watch the video after the jump.
