In celebration of a legend’s birthday
I was invited to stop by the Historical Vintage & Classic Cars Museum for an event honoring Carroll Shelby’s birthday. With or without the 89 year old, the attendees and their cars were in the mood to celebrate.
There was a mix of new Shelby Mustangs, older ‘stangs, and some great Shelby Cobra replicas.
Some modified current Mustangs were on hand as well.
All I have to say is happy birthday Mr. Shelby. Have a piece of your honorary cake (pic above) and may you continue to inspire and produce many more kick-@$$ cars in the future!

Looked like a nice show
Shelby Americas’ also celebrating by launching a handfull of special edition ponies… Some with up to 800bhp !!!

I’ve got a soft spot for ‘Elenore’ after I saw Gone in 60 Seconds. Something about the fastback styling that I like very much
