4-door Ford Mustang???
According to Road & Track, Ford has announced its plans to introduce a 4-door Mustang. Due to the Chevrolet Camaro’s strong sales and increase in market-share, Ford has decided that this “radical” move is the best way forward.
The article even goes on to say that possible hybrid and diesel variants could make it into production. Now, I don’t know about you but the very fact that this bit of news has come out on April 1st makes me skeptical. Could the folks at Road & Track be pulling a fast one on us? I say “April Fools”! What do you guys think?

To me this looks like a Charger with different tail lights. I think they would ruin the Mustang legend by producing this car

Well honestly if they ever decided to build one like the one shown above, I would be a buyer. Anyways, it would be smart to come up with a 4 door performance car to compete against the dodge charger and amp up sales for Ford. I wouldn’t want them to ruin the legacy of the Mustang. So I figure if this ever comes into production, the design would change although still be on the same platform of the mustang and change the name. Maybe bring back the ford Falcon?

As much as I hate to admit it, I can totally see 4-door Mustangs being sold like hot cakes! The purists will cry “murder”, yet it would open up a whole new segment for Ford. You smartly mentioned the Ford Falcon name; that could actually work. This way, Mustang fans might refrain from hanging themselves lol

I could see it as a falcon, just change the headlights and taillights.
I would buy it.
