Launched! The new Aston Martin Vanquish
Just recently I had posted images of Aston Martin’s Project AM310 concept car, rumored to preview the brand’s successor to the DBS. Well, now it’s official that Aston was sneakily showcasing its new Vanquish.
The Vanquish represents Aston’s new design language, utilizing many visual cues from the One-77 supercar.
The waistline, side strakes and LED rear light blades are some of the One-77 inspired elements. Aston has nailed it once again with the harmonization of a muscular stance and gorgeous curves. What I always say is Aston Martins are “designed to look like they’re flying past you even while parked”. The new Vanquish has no problem living up to that expectation.
The Vanquish retains the naturally aspirated 6.0-litre V12 engine revised to pump out 565bhp. Mated to a Touchtronic 2 6-speed automatic gearbox, there is no word yet on the availability of a manual transmission. 0-100km/h acceleration times are possible in the 4.1 second range, while achieving a top speed of approximately 300km/h.
And if we should expect anything from Aston Martin, it’s a special interior fitted with premium materials. Along with the flowing center column, the seats look particularly interesting with their textured design. The Vanquish is initially priced at £189,995, but expect that to rise significantly with added options.

The new Virage is a reworked DB9, the new Vanquish is a reworked DBS.. It’s sad really that no all new cars are replacing the old ones, just some line changes
