Since the year 2000, only one British driver has claimed victory at Silverstone: Lewis Hamilton (2007). Following Alonso’s emotional victory in front of his Spanish home crowd, we could be set for another tearjerker if one of the 3 British drivers crosses the chequered flag in 1st!
