F1 given an “anime” twist
Watching the Japanese Grand Prix yesterday, I couldn’t help but think that the Suzuka circuit tends to bring out some of the most dedicated F1 fans in the world. The Japanese truly love their Formula 1! They’re also quite passionate about their “anime” cartoons. After the jump, watch how they combined the two in a Japanese TV ad for the 2007 Spanish Grand Prix.

Random question: Does anybody know if Abu Dhabi sport will be showing F1, or if F1 will be free to air in Kuwait?

Abu Dhabi Sport are the only ones who have the rights to broadcast F1 in the region. Abu Dhabi Sport 2 (free-to-air channel) shows the Practice, Qualifying and Race sessions; however, only with Arabic commentary and not in HD. If you want English commentary and HD, then you would need a paid subscription for the Abu Dhabi Sport HD channels.
In regards to Abu Dhabi Sport airing the races, you can find the dates and timings on this site every Thursday prior to a race weekend. Feel free to check out the last post regarding F1 broadcast times as a reference.
