I see the resemblance between the Range Rover and THIS. Do you?
Which SUV has the Range Rover taken design inspiration from? Don’t hate me, but the resemblance is uncanny.
The culprit items on which this argument is based are particularly the Ford Explorer’s head and taillights, as well as the shape to the front bumper once you see it from the angle below.
Any thoughts?

They were designed by the same person

Range Rover was part of Ford’s PAG before it was bought by TATA India.

I knew that was the case; however, I didn’t think the design theme would have been implemented on both ends. Especially when you consider the range in which the Range Rover is priced. Couldn’t they have designed something different? lol

Actually, I think the Ford explorer is a direct copy of the current Acura MDX which was introduced back in 2007. They aren’t exactly the same, but there is some strong resemblance. Mainly the front lights and grill area. If anything, I think Acura set the tone for this theme……just my two cents!

I can see what you mean when it comes to the Acura’s grill, but not so much the lights. I think the design looks familiar to you because of how bold and “in your face” the Acura’s grill is.

That’s not cool. You can get four fords for the price of one range… Someone should have put in a little more effort and not just “copy pasted” their work again.

They are very very similar, there was one with special rims and modifications, people actually thought it was a Range Rover!
